Flatfile Data Exchange Platform - Public Beta Program

Frequently asked questions

What is the Flatfile Beta program?

The public beta program for the Flatfile Data Exchange Platform is inviting all interested developers to take a look at the full capabilities of the platform and start building awesome data import experiences for their users.

How do I sign up for the beta?

You can sign up for a free account here and start building right away.

Are there any limitations?

You have full access to the entire platform functionality that is currently available. Even better, during the beta period there are no usage limits in place. The only limitation we are putting in place during the beta period is a file size limit of 10,000 rows, which helps us better manage the beta traffic.

While we have tested the platform thoroughly and several customers have participated in a private beta for several months, there is always a chance for something we have missed. If you find anything that looks off, please drop us a note at support@flatfile.com.

Are there any usage limitations?

During the time of the beta there are no usage limitations.

How long does the beta program last?

The beta program will last until the platform passes our quality criteria and we believe it has been used long enough across a cross section of use cases and development teams.

What comes after the beta?

After Beta, the platform will be generally available to the public through a free usage plan as well as several commercial plans.

How long can I use the Flatfile Data Exchange Platform for free?

Developers will always be able to build with the Flatfile Data Exchange Platform without charge. Additionally we will offer a generous free usage plan that will allow small teams to get started and use Flatfile completely free.

How much does it cost after the beta program is closed?

Users can go beyond the free usage limit through a simple pay-as-you-go model that starts at $2 per file imported and will decrease with volume usage. Additional subscription plans with higher service levels will be published prior to GA.
